Switch Battery Dying Fast or Won't Charge? Fix from $120
Your Switch drains battery quickly, won't hold a charge overnight, or won't charge at all even when plugged in. Prepaid, insured label, fixed quote first, 3-month workmanship warranty. Nothing to pay upfront — a flat $100 shipping (both ways, insured) is added to your invoice only if you approve the fix.
How to know it's this fault
- Battery drops from 100% to 0% in under 2 hours of gameplay
- Won't charge unless you wiggle the cable in
- Battery icon shows charging but percentage never increases
- Switch turns off shortly after unplugging, even on full battery
The common cause
Either the battery has aged out (Switch batteries lose 30-50% of capacity after 3 years of heavy use), the USB-C charging port has bent pins, or the PI3USB chip near the port has failed and isn't requesting the right charging voltage.
How we repair it
We test the battery health first (free). If battery: replacement $120 with genuine cell, full discharge/charge cycle test. If port: $180 USB-C port repair. If both (most common after 3+ years): port + battery together $300
