Joy-Con Drift? TMR Stick Upgrade — $90 per controller
Your Joy-Con stick moves on its own without you touching it. Prepaid, insured label, fixed quote first, 3-month workmanship warranty. Nothing to pay upfront — a flat $100 shipping (both ways, insured) is added to your invoice only if you approve the fix.
How to know it's this fault
- Character walks on its own
- Menu cursor drifts to one side
- Aim moves slowly in BOTW / Splatoon
- Already tried calibration and it didn't help
The common cause
Wear on the carbon tracks inside the Nintendo stick module. Famously a design flaw — even brand-new Joy-Cons can start drifting within months. Calibration is a band-aid; the only real fix is module replacement.
How we repair it
Open the Joy-Con, desolder the drifting stick module, fit a TMR anti-drift stick module, reassemble with new gasket. TMR sticks read position through magnetic tunnel sensors — no contact wear, immune to drift. We've moved from Hall Effect to newer TMR sticks.
