Console Repair Overflow
For Repair Shops & Retailers
A PS5 with a dead HDMI path walks into your shop and you don't do microsoldering. Right now you turn that job away. Instead: take it in, send it to us, and hand it back fixed. We're the national mail-in console bench — you keep the customer, we do the board-level work, nobody ever knows your shop doesn't own a hot air station.
Your counter, our bench
Straightforward trade arrangement. The customer walks into your shop and walks out of your shop — everything in between is us.
Your shop keeps the customer
We deal with you, not them. Quotes go to your inbox, the repaired console ships back to your counter, and you invoice the customer at whatever margin you set. We never contact or market to your customer — the relationship stays yours.
We do the board-level work
Microsoldering under the microscope from our Charlestown NSW workshop: HDMI ports and retimer ICs, power supplies, charge ports, shorted rails, liquid metal servicing. The jobs that need hot air, flux and a steady hand — the ones most shops rightly turn away.
Wholesale rates, batch freight
Volume earns wholesale pricing off our public price list, and batch shipping means one insured box carries several consoles. Every unit is tracked separately with its own diagnosis, quote and approval — you only pay for what you green-light.
How trade jobs run
Same discipline as our retail bench: fixed quote first, no work without approval, 3-month workmanship warranty on everything.
Get set up
Email [email protected] with the subject "Partner enquiry". Tell us what you'd send and roughly how often — we'll come back with your rates and shipping setup.
Batch and send
Box one console or ten in a single insured shipment. Tag each unit with your job reference so it tracks straight through our system under your account.
24h diagnosis, per-unit quotes
Each console is on the bench within 24 hours of arrival. You get a per-unit quote with photos — approve, decline or trade-in each one individually.
Back to your counter
Approved units are repaired, stress-tested on a real display and shipped back to your shop, tracked and insured. Your tech hands it over; your customer never leaves your orbit.
What we take off your bench
The high-skill, high-tooling jobs that don't make sense for a general repair shop to build capability around.
PS5 HDMI & retimer work
The most common console fault in the country, and the one that catches shops out — a failed retimer IC looks identical to a broken port from the outside. We test the port, the retimer and the traces between them under one diagnosis, so nothing goes back to your customer half-fixed.
Power faults & shorted boards
Dead consoles, beep-and-die boot loops, blown supplies, shorted rails. We diagnose at component level and quote the real fault — not a guess — so you can give your customer a straight answer instead of a shrug.
Xbox & Switch board repair
Series X and S HDMI and no-display faults, Xbox One work, Switch charge ports, screens and Joy-Con drift — including TMR magnetic stick upgrades your customers can't get at retail. One partner, all three platforms covered.
Thermal & liquid metal servicing
PS5 liquid metal is its own discipline — handled wrong it migrates and shorts the board. We strip, clean and re-apply it properly, which makes overheating and shutdown consoles a safe job to accept over your counter instead of one to refuse.
If consoles cross your counter, this works
Phone repair shops are the obvious fit — you already have the walk-ins asking about PS5s, and screens-and-batteries tooling doesn't stretch to BGA work. Computer shops and IT providers hit the same wall. Game stores and second-hand dealers have a different angle: faulty stock and trade-ins that become sellable again at wholesale repair rates instead of sitting dead on a shelf.
There's no minimum volume and no contract to get started. Send one console and see how the bench treats it. If the work's good — and it will be — send the next batch.
Trade questions, straight answers
How does wholesale console repair pricing work?
Our public price list is the starting point — wholesale rates come off that based on the volume you send. One console a month is welcome; regular batches earn better rates. Email [email protected] with the subject "Partner enquiry", tell us roughly what you'd send and how often, and we'll put real numbers in front of you.
Do you contact our customer?
No. The customer is yours. We deal with your shop only — quotes go to you, the repaired console ships back to your counter, and your shop hands it back and invoices the customer at whatever margin you set. We never market to or contact the end customer.
What warranty do partner repairs carry?
The same 3-month workmanship warranty as every job on our bench. If our workmanship fails within that window, send it back and we make it right. You can pass that warranty straight through to your customer.
How fast is turnaround for trade work?
Consoles are diagnosed within 24 hours of hitting the bench and you get a per-unit quote with photos. No quote is worked on until you approve it. Most approved repairs are completed and back in transit within 3-5 business days. See the turnaround guide for service tiers.
Can we send multiple consoles at once?
Yes — batch shipping is the point. Box up several consoles in one insured shipment, label each with your job reference, and we track every unit separately on the bench. Each console gets its own diagnosis, quote and approval line, so you only ever pay for what you green-light.
